Did anyone encounter International Women’s Day this year? It seemed to pass me by. Well, that’s not quite true. I read a few Age editorial pieces about it, noticed some IWD ribbons at work courtesy of the state government and narrowly avoided being knocked down in the corridor by a large bunch of purple, green and white balloons.
